SHIAS KILLINGS IN PAKISTAN- MILITARY IS INVOLVED: AHRC Report

In a cold blooded attack by men in uniforms of the Pakistan Army, 18 persons from the Shiite community of Islam were targeted and killed. The incident occurred in the Khyber Pakhtunkha province close to the border of Gilgit and Baltistan area where Shias reside almost in good numbers to the Sunni population. On February 28 passengers in four buses were going to Gilgit town the capital of the Gilgit-Baltistan from Rawalpindi, Punjab province when, in the mountainous Kohistan district of Khyber Pakhtunkha province, men dressed in army uniforms stopped and disembarked the Shia passengers after identifying them from the rest of the 117 passengers. Coïncidant avec la journée d’action organisée par Amnesty International en soutien aux manifestations pacifiques dans le monde entier et plus particulièrement au Moyen-Orient et en Afrique du Nord, une importante manifestation a été organisée, samedi 11 février 2012 à Paris, par un collectif d’associations, relevant de la société civile, des syndicats, de partis politiques et de la diaspora syrienne, pour protester contre les méthodes criminelles utilisées par le régime syrien et exiger qu’il soit mis fin à ce régime. Emergence of blood-borders in Pakistan

The horrifying video reported by Jane Perlez in an article of New York Times on September 29, 2010, showing Pakistan Army officers mass-killing six innocent blind-folded young men with their hands tied-back, has shocked the world. The way the Pakistani soldiers shot and killed the young men some of them as young as 14 years and then shooting at short range on those who were still alive and wounded, to finish them, dwarfs the atrocities committed by chetnik Serbs in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
